Emanuel V. Capela is a Junior Researcher at the Department of Chemistry, University of Aveiro (Portugal), affiliated with CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering (specialization in Bioengineering) from University of Aveiro and Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon. His research focuses on sustainable chemical processes, particularly aqueous biphasic systems, ionic liquids, and biopharmaceutical purification.
