Emanuel Duarte Ribeiro

Emanuel Duarte Ribeiro is a PostDoc researcher at the University of Basel, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences and working within the Department of Environmental Sciences under the FG Salzburger research group.

His research focuses on paleoenvironmental reconstruction using biotic indicators in lake sediments, climate change impacts on aquatic ecosystems, and experimental studies in alpine springs. Current projects include KUMiT (Climate, Environment, People in Thurgau), SNSF-funded work on remote mountain lake ecosystems, and laboratory experiments on pesticide effects.
