Elvis F. Elli is an Assistant Professor of Crop Physiology in the Department of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences at the University of Arkansas, affiliated with Bumpers College. He serves as the Director of the Experiment Station (DREX) and is part of the Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences (CSES) team. His research focuses on understanding physiological mechanisms influencing crop yields, developing strategies for adapting crops to climate variability, and using process-based models to optimize agroecosystems for sustainability.
Dr. Elli holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Systems Engineering from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Agronomy from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil. His work integrates genetics, agronomy, and environmental science to enhance crop resilience and productivity.
