Elsa Harris is a Professor in the Mathematics and Science Department at the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Otis College. Since joining in 2017 as an associate professor, she has served as program coordinator for Mathematics and Science courses, creating innovative curricula including classes on Infographics, Smart Textile Science, and Financial Literacy.
Her interdisciplinary research focuses on biomechanics, artificial intelligence applications for gait analysis, self-powered sensing systems, and renewable energy integration in wearable technology. She actively contributes to IEEE and AMS, while engaging in community service through the Los Angeles Rotary and other non-profits.
