Elmer Ruigrok

Elmer Ruigrok is a senior seismologist at the Royal Meteorological Institute of the Netherlands (KNMI) and an assistant professor at Utrecht University. His work focuses on analyzing Earth vibrations to understand subsurface dynamics, combining applied research at KNMI with academic teaching.

His research interests include:

• Seismic imaging techniques for Earth structure analysis
