Elli Stern is a Professor of Modern Jewish Intellectual and Cultural History at Yale University, affiliated with the Departments of Religious Studies and History. He previously held a Junior William Golding Fellowship in the Humanities at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on Jewish Studies, Religion and Modernity, and the intersection of Jewish thought with political movements like Zionism, Communism, and Capitalism.
