Ellena Yusti

Ellena Yusti is a Researcher affiliated with Universitas Jambi, contributing to the CRC990/EFForTs research initiative. Her work focuses on biodiversity patterns, bat ecology, and landscape assessments. She has collaborated closely with Dr. Arne Wenzel and Dr. Kevin Darras on projects involving bat monitoring, stingless bee colony experiments, and ecological surveys across rainforest landscapes.

Key Projects include:

• Bat Calls ID & Manuscript Writing (2023–present): Analyzing bat acoustic data and contributing to manuscript preparation.
• Stingless Bee Project (2022–2023): Establishing bee colonies in biodiversity-enriched plots and monitoring hive development.
• Landscape Assessment (2021): Surveying predatory rates, mosquito sampling, and acoustic recordings.

Research Interests span bat ecology, biodiversity conservation, and ecological methodologies. Her work integrates technology like thermal imaging and acoustic recordings to study wildlife dynamics. She has published on novel sampling techniques for bat communities and documented new species in Southeast Sulawesi.
