Ellen L. Short is an Associate Professor of Graduate Counseling Programs and Chairperson of the Department of Counseling and School Psychology at Long Island University's School of Education (Brooklyn campus). With a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from New York University, her work focuses on group dynamics intersecting race, ethnicity, gender, and culture, alongside multicultural assessment and social justice in counseling.
