Ellen Goldberg is a Retired Associate Professor in the Department of Religions of South Asia at Queen's University's School of Religion. She is also affiliated with the Cultural Studies Interdisciplinary Graduate Program. Her research focuses on Cognitive Science, Hinduism, and Buddhism.
Education: BA from Western Ontario, MA and PhD from the University of Toronto.
Research interests include interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of cognitive science and religious traditions of South Asia. She has contributed to understanding the cognitive dimensions of Hindu and Buddhist practices and thought.
