Ellen Ballard is a Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University. Her research investigates how individuals with major mental disorders interact with the criminal justice system, alongside secondary interests in substance abuse, desistance from crime, and quantitative methods.
