Dr. Elizer Jay de los Reyes is a Lecturer and Associate Programme Director of the MSc Education at the Southampton Education School, University of Southampton. His research focuses on youth mobilities, transnational families, and resilience in education, particularly examining the impacts of labor migration on children and educators globally. He leads the Research England-funded 'Narrating Intergenerational Voices' project, exploring decision-making processes in mother-away families in the Philippines. Previously, he investigated academic resilience during the pandemic through the Universitas-21 project 'Resilience Beyond Borders'.
He teaches modules such as 'Digital Society' and 'Social Contexts of Education', integrating social justice and inclusive education principles.
