Elizabeth Walker is an Associate Research Professor at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health, specializing in behavioral, social, and health education sciences. She serves as Director of Graduate Studies for the BSHES MPH program and leads the Office of Evidence-based Learning. Her work focuses on mental health service evaluation, capacity-building for mental health workforces, and pedagogical innovation in public health education. She holds a PhD from Emory and completed a postdoctoral fellowship under Dr. Ben Druss at Rollins.
Her research spans mental health implementation science (e.g., leading the Center for Mental Health Implementation Support) and teaching methodologies, including evaluations of online learning, team-based learning, and curriculum design. Notable projects include developing the WebEase epilepsy self-management platform and assessing compassion meditation for hospital chaplains.
