Elizabeth Thompson is the Dean of Pembroke College and holds dual roles as Assistant Professor of the Practice and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University. Her research focuses on identifying risk factors for psychosis-spectrum disorders in adolescents, optimizing early psychosis screening methods, and developing interventions to mitigate mental health risks in this population. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University’s Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. Dr. Thompson is also a Research Scientist at Rhode Island Hospital and co-directs Bradley Hospital's Stride Clinic, an early psychosis assessment and consultation service for Rhode Island youth and families. Her work bridges clinical practice and research, emphasizing translational approaches to improve mental health outcomes.
