Elizabeth Schwab

Elizabeth Schwab is Professor and Program Chair of the Business Psychology Division at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she founded the MA in Behavioral Economics program. Her research examines decision-making biases, behavioral finance, and leadership psychology.

Research explores cognitive factors in financial/consumer decisions, misinformation response strategies, and motivational interviewing techniques. Current projects investigate vaccination decision-making and physician prescription patterns.

Schwab consults for healthcare and business sectors, presenting at international conferences on intuitive leadership, combating misinformation, and ethical behavioral economics. Media appearances include CNN, Wall Street Journal, and Fast Company.
