Elizabeth Reitz Mullenix, Ph.D., is a Professor of Theatre Studies at the College of Creative Arts, Miami University. She served as Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs from 2022–2025, following a 9-year tenure as Dean of the College of Creative Arts. Prior to her deanship, she chaired the Department of Theatre at Miami for 7 years. Her academic career began at Illinois State University, where she spent 11 years in faculty and administrative roles, including Associate Chair, Director of Graduate Studies for the School of Theatre and Dance, and Associate Dean for the College of Fine Arts.
