Elizabeth Podlaha-Murphy

Elizabeth Podlaha-Murphy is Professor and Chair of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University's Coulter School of Engineering. Her research advances electrodeposition processes for nanoscale materials, environmentally friendly plating technologies, and functional alloy composites.

Research contributions include fundamental studies of kinetic-transport phenomena in plating systems and development of novel nanostructures for micro/nano-device applications. Podlaha-Murphy's work has generated 90+ peer-reviewed publications and 3 patents, supported by NSF, NIH, DARPA, DOE and industrial funding.
