Elizabeth Paul

Elizabeth Paul is an Associate Professor of English at George Mason University specializing in composition pedagogy for multicultural classrooms and multilingual writers. As International Students Coordinator, she supports China 1+2+1 English majors. Her creative work includes ekphrastic poetry collections like 'Reading Girl' (Matisse-inspired) and 'Blue Lovers' (Chagall-inspired), along with essays in The Fourth River and Briar Cliff Review.

Paul's research explores creative writing pedagogy, collaborative authorship, and text-image relationships. Honors include Pushcart Prize nominations and finalist positions for the Orison Anthology Best Spiritual Literature Award and Gournay Prize. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on writing craft, literary interpretation, and cross-cultural communication.
