Elizabeth Fisher is Associate Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University. Her research advances sustainable energy technologies through combustion chemistry and thermal systems analysis.
Research highlights:
- Biomass cookstove design for developing regions
- Pyrolysis kinetics and biochar applications
- Oxy-combustion for carbon capture
- Biofuel combustion chemistry
She co-developed Cornell's hydrogen energy station concept and has contributed to USDA-funded projects on biochar carbon sequestration.
