Elizabeth Lee

Elizabeth Lee is an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, with a secondary appointment in Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics. Her research focuses on pediatric epidemiology, perinatal quality of care, and infectious disease prevention within military health systems.

Dr. Lee specializes in integrating health services, policy, and implementation science methodologies to analyze large datasets addressing military family health challenges. Current projects include:

• Principal Investigator (PI) for a malaria prophylaxis pregnancy outcomes cohort study
• Research on maternity-neonatal intensive care unit service alignment in the U.S. Military Health System (MHS)
• Collaborative studies on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, HIV, and post-COVID sequelae

Her work spans geospatial analysis, health systems research, and global health partnerships with African militaries. Collaborations include the USU Center for Health Services Research and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
