Elizabeth Lackey is an Instructor in the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). She also serves as a success coach, advisor, and mentor in the School of Transfer at Stanly Community College in Albemarle, NC. Her work focuses on teaching, mentoring, and research in conflict-related fields.
Education:
- Masters in Conflict Resolution, UNCG (2008)
- PhD in Conflict Analysis, Nova Southeastern University (2016)
Research Interests: Elizabeth’s research examines conflict behavior, conflict coaching, and dynamics within interpersonal, family, and group settings. She also explores educational and organizational conflicts, with her dissertation analyzing the impact of residential group and foster care on adult conflict behavior.
Teaching: Courses include Culture and Global Peacebuilding, Organizational Conflict, and Crisis Management.
Advising & Mentorship: Elizabeth actively advises and mentors students at both UNCG and Stanly Community College, emphasizing student success.
