Elizabeth Hordge-Freeman serves as Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of South Florida, specializing in the intersection of race, family structures, and socialization within Black Brazilian communities.
Her research examines how racial hierarchies permeate familial socialization processes, particularly through the lens of stigma navigation in Black Brazilian households.
