Elizabeth Hebert

Elizabeth Hebert is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. She is a registered psychologist with expertise in cognitive-behavioural treatment development for anxiety disorders, particularly focusing on intolerance of uncertainty.

• PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba (2016)
• MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba (2010)

Her research explores the cognitive mechanisms underlying anxiety disorders, with a special emphasis on intolerance of uncertainty. She has published in leading specialty journals and developed a novel cognitive-behavioural treatment protocol for generalized anxiety disorder centered on behavioural experiments.
