Elizabeth Erwin

Dr. Elizabeth Joy Erwin is a Professor at Montclair State University in the Department of Teaching and Learning, where she trains graduate and doctoral students in inclusive pedagogy. With over 30 years of experience, her work centers on equity, innovation, and social justice for children with disabilities and their families.

Dr. Erwin's research explores Inclusive Communities, Mindfulness Practices, and Innovations in Reflective Inquiry. Her latest book, The Power of Presence (2020), bridges mindfulness with social justice in early childhood education.
