Elizabeth Dent is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sunderland, where she completed her BSc, MSc, and PhD in Psychological Research Methods. Her research focuses on gut-brain communication and the psychosocial impact of chronic gastrointestinal conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
