Dr. Elizabeth Allen is an Associate Professor in the Master of Public Health (MPH) program and Assistant Professor affiliated with the Katies for Aging Research and Equity (KARE). She holds a PhD in environmental epidemiology and a master’s in environmental health, with a post-doctoral focus on community engaged research for health equity. Her research bridges environmental health, climate change impacts, and social justice, particularly examining violence against women and girls in agrarian economies and women’s empowerment in Peru. She collaborates globally with NGOs and scholars. Dr. Allen teaches Global Environmental Health and Epidemiology.
