Dr Elizabeth Adamson is a Research Fellow at the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC) within the University of New South Wales' Arts, Design & Architecture faculty. Her work spans comparative care policy, family policy, and gender and migration, with a focus on early childhood education and care (ECEC), informal/formal care economies, and child poverty in the Pacific Islands. She is co-supervising Connie Byrne in the School of Social Sciences.

Her research explores the social and political economy of care, including migrant nannies/grannies, marketized family day care, and the gendered dimensions of grandparental childcare. Articles highlight trends in care migration, remote ECEC service delivery, and alcohol policy in Indigenous communities. She has no listed scientific awards but contributes extensively to policy reports and book chapters.
