Elise Co

Elise Co serves as Associate Professor in Graduate Media Design and Interaction Design at ArtCenter College of Design, teaching advanced courses including Capstone Studios, Thesis Development, and Sponsored Studios with industry partners like Alienware and Hermes. She co-founded Aeolab, a Los Angeles design-technology studio creating prototypes for clients including Honda, BMW, and Disney.

Her research pioneers the fusion of physical and digital experiences through hand-powered electronics, multi-screen installations, and fashion-technology synthesis. This practice-led approach bridges academic inquiry with commercial implementation.

Co maintains an active exhibition record with installations at Milan Triennale, Istanbul Design Biennial, MOMA, and SIGGRAPH. Her teaching extends beyond ArtCenter to Hochschule für Gestaltung Basel, University of Minnesota, SCI-Arc, and USC.

As Aeolab co-founder, she leads teams developing high-fidelity prototypes of future systems, demonstrating continuous integration of academic research with industry innovation through sponsored studios and client projects.
