Dr. Elise Antoine is a Research Fellow in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She holds a PhD in Political Economy from King’s College London and an MA and BA from Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris). Her research focuses on internet regulation, business lobbying, and global regulatory politics, employing methods like quantitative text analysis and elite interviews. She teaches courses including GV4F4: Policy Advice in Theory and Practice and GV4E9: Approaches and Issues in Public Policy & Administration.
Her key research interests include the interplay between politics and advocacy groups in internet regulation, global policy processes, and the impact of focusing events on policy politicisation. She has been awarded the ECPR Standing Group on Interest Groups Annual Best Paper Award (2024) for her work on global lobbying strategies.
