Elisabeth Sperow

Elisabeth "Lisa" Sperow is an accomplished Lecturer at Cal Poly's Orfalea College of Business and Executive Director of the Cal Poly Low Income Taxpayer Clinic since 2012. She combines academic instruction with practical legal service, teaching diverse courses like International Law, Employment Law, and Legal Research and Writing while representing underserved taxpayers.

Her research focuses on tax law, constitutional rights, and legal ethics, informed by her extensive practice before the U.S. Tax Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Sperow's community engagement includes serving as Judge Pro Tem and mentoring high school mock trial teams.
