Elisa Fiore

Dr. Elisa Fiore is an Assistant Professor of Urban Geography at Utrecht University's Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning (Faculty of Geosciences). Her research focuses on social inequality, gender, and sensory experiences in urban contexts.

Fiore investigates how social exclusions manifest through embodied practices and sensory attunement, particularly in gentrified neighborhoods. Current projects examine reproductive politics in Dutch cities and sensory dynamics in Amsterdam's foodscapes.
