Elisa Dillard Rainey

Elisa Dillard Rainey is an attorney and adjunct professor of Elder Law at Baylor Law School. She holds a BBA from Baylor University (1992) and JD from Baylor Law School (1994). Her practice focuses exclusively on elder law and estate planning, specializing in Medicaid planning, special needs trusts, probate, and guardianship. She combines legal expertise with academic engagement, frequently speaking at professional and community events.

Elisa’s community involvement includes board roles with the Texas National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Providence Foundation, and Junior League of Waco. Her accolades include Fellow status in the Texas Bar Foundation and the 2001 Waco/McLennan County Outstanding Young Lawyers Award.
