Elisa Chazal is a Researcher in the Department of History at the European University Institute. Her doctoral research focuses on "The Industry of Anachronism: (Re)producing the Past in the Immersive Historical Reconstructions in Fin-de-siècle London, Vienna, Budapest, and Paris", supervised by Giorgio Riello and Pieter M. Judson. She is affiliated with EUI's academic community as a 2020 cohort member.
