Elisa Bricco

Elisa Bricco is a Full Professor of French Literature (FRAN-01/A) in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Genoa, serving as Coordinator of the PhD program and Member of the School Council for the School of Humanities. Her academic work centers on contemporary French literary and visual culture across undergraduate and graduate programs including Letters, Languages and Intercultural Communication, and Theories and Techniques of Interlinguistic Mediation.

Her work consistently examines how visual and textual media construct meaning in contemporary society, with particular attention to urban environments and cross-cultural communication.

Through the ARgeC project and "Visible Cities" podcast series, Bricco extends her scholarship into public engagement, analyzing urban representation in comics and producing literary-critical content on global cities. Her collaboration with figures like Frédérique Aït-Touati and Virginie Despentes underscores her transdisciplinary methodology connecting academic research with cultural production.
