Elin Rogn Nilsen

Elin Rogn Nilsen is an Assistant Professor at the University of Agder's Department of Health and Nursing Science. She holds a Master's degree in Health Sciences (2015) with specialization in aging and health, and is a PhD candidate researching holistic patient care for elderly and chronically ill patients. Her work experience includes over a decade in nursing roles at Grimstad Municipality, focusing on geriatric and dementia care. She has collaborated with the Center for Care Research, South on knowledge synthesis projects.

Her research emphasizes continuity of care during healthcare transitions, person-centered care practices, and policy implementation in elderly care. She teaches clinical health sciences modules related to patient pathways and interdisciplinary care coordination.
