Elin Maria Berg is a PhD Research Fellow at the University of Agder's Department of Foreign Languages and Translation. Her research focuses on formative assessment, written corrective feedback, and emotional dynamics in language learning. She is affiliated with the MUSE research group (Multilingualism in Society and Education) and the International Association for the Psychology of Language Learning (IAPLL). Her work examines feedback engagement in EFL classrooms and the role of positive/negative emotions in language acquisition.
- Teaching courses include EN-438/442 (Didactics of English), EN-447 (English Language and Learning), and EN-156 (Language Skills and Didactics)
Her research project Language Learner Engagement With Written Feedback: The Student Perspective investigates student interactions with written feedback mechanisms. She contributed to the TRAWL Corpus project analyzing multilingual young learner language development.
