About
Elie Adam, Ph.D., is an Investigator and Instructor at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and a member of the Faculty of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School (HMS). His research spans neuroscience, bioengineering, pharmacology, mathematics, and hibernation, focusing on neurometabolic mechanisms and artificial hibernation for neuroprotection.
- Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (MIT, 2017).
His work combines biophysical modeling, in-vivo experiments, and systems theory to study brain dynamics under anesthesia, develop miniature NMR technology for brain energetics, and derive adaptive systems principles from hibernation. Recent publications emphasize neuropharmacology, neural oscillations, and critical care applications. Contact: eadam@mgh.harvard.edu
