Elica Krasteva

Dr Elica Krasteva is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Accounting at the University of Liverpool Management School. She previously worked in the Treasury Office of the University of Rochester (USA) before entering academia. Her research focuses on financial reporting, corporate governance, and power dynamics between CEOs/CFOs impacting disclosures. She holds a PhD from Bocconi University (Milan) and multiple advanced degrees from the University of Rochester, including an EdD, MSc, and MBA.

Teaching: Leads modules like Financial Reporting and Analysis (ACFI220) and Corporate Financial Management for Non-Specialists (ACFI213) as Module Co-ordinator.
