Professor Eli Natvik is a faculty member at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) in the Department of Health and Caring Sciences. He holds a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Bergen (2015) and maintains active roles across multiple academic institutions including UiB and NTNU.
His research focuses on health promotion, mental health services, user participation in healthcare innovation, and patient experiences particularly related to obesity treatment, eating disorders, and digital health interventions. Key research areas include ethical innovation frameworks, personalized care models, and service user involvement in research agenda setting.
Natvik leads work package development in the NorseImpact research project focused on continuous digital mental healthcare, and has developed the Active Clinical Reflection digital learning resource for clinical training.
