Elena Sureda Demeulemeester

Dr. Elena Sureda Demeulemeester is a Professor of Labor Psychology at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where she serves as Director of the Prevention Service. She teaches across multiple official Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, covering subjects in Social Psychology, Human Resources, and Occupational Risk Prevention.

Her educational background includes a Psychology degree (UIB, 1997), PhD in Organizational Psychology (UIB, 2012), and multiple specialized master's degrees in Clinical and Healthcare Management (UIB, 2008), Occupational Health (UIB, 2016), and Human Resources Management (UDIMA, 2019).

Dr. Sureda Demeulemeester's primary research focuses on psychosocial risk prevention and competency-based management in Human Resources, particularly through 360° Multi-Source Assessment and Structured Objective Clinical Assessment (OSCA/ECOE). Her work bridges academic research with practical applications in workplace health and organizational development.
