Elena S. Reckzeh

Jr. Prof. Dr. Elena S. Reckzeh holds the Argelander Professorship for Organoids and Chemical Biology at the University of Bonn, affiliated with the Life and Medical Sciences Institute (LIMES) and the transdisciplinary research area TRA Life and Health. Her work bridges chemical biology and organoid research to study metabolic regulation in cancer and nutrient absorption.

• Research Focus: Metabolic adaptation in colorectal cancer, nutrient bioavailability, and development of small-molecule inhibitors
• Techniques: Patient-derived tumor organoids, chemical screening, co-culture models
