Jun.-Prof. Elena Freisinger is a junior professor at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, leading the Innovation Management Group within the Department of Economic Science and Media. Her research focuses on the emergence and societal impact of innovations, particularly in business models and organizational dynamics. She holds a PhD in Innovation Management from EBS University of Business and Law (2019), and completed research stays at Simon Fraser University (Canada) and Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand) during her doctoral studies.
Her academic career includes roles as a researcher at the Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions (NIM) in Behavioral Sciences and Future & Trends groups, and as a research associate at the Strascheg Institute for Innovation, Transformation and Entrepreneurship (SITE) at EBS.
