Elena Fort is a Lecturer in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan, affiliated with the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. She holds a PhD in Russian Studies from Volgograd State Pedagogical University (2006) and an MA in Educational Technology from Michigan State University (2011). Her work focuses on Russian language education, cultural studies, and the integration of technology in teaching.
She is actively involved with several research centers, including the Center for Russian, East European, & Eurasian Studies (CREES), the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia (WCEE), and the CREES Faculty Associates.
