Elena Corcione is a Research Fellow in International Law at the University of Gastronomic Sciences (Pollenzo Campus) since 2021. Her work focuses on human rights in global value chains and corporate social responsibility. She holds a PhD in Law and Institutions from the University of Turin (2018) and is a qualified lawyer at the Turin Bar since 2015.

Research Interests: Elena’s interdisciplinary research bridges international law and business practices, emphasizing human rights due diligence, sustainable supply chains, and EU regulatory frameworks. She has contributed to projects on chemical safety risks and labor exploitation in agribusiness.
Professional Experience: Prior to UNISG, she was a Research Fellow at the Institute of International Legal Studies (National Research Council) and the University of Turin. She also advises RPLT Legalitax’s ESG Legal Impact team on business and human rights compliance.
Labs/Teams: Involved in the Nord Ovest Digitale E Sostenibile research node at UNISG.
