Elena Coda is a Professor of Italian Literature and Associate Head of Purdue University's School of Languages and Cultures (SIS), with affiliate faculty appointments in Philosophy and Literature, Comparative Literature, Film and Video Production (Rueff School), and Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies.
Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Italian Literature from UCLA (1998).
Professor Coda's research centers on Triestine literature and Modernism, with significant contributions to modern/postmodern landscapes, European identity studies, and essayistic narrative.
