Elena Ambrosetti is a Full Professor of Demography at the Faculty of Economics, Sapienza University of Rome. She serves as Vice-Director of the Department of Methods and Models for Economy, Territory, and Finance (since 2023) and is a Research Fellow at Aix-Marseille University's "Mesopolhis" center. Her research focuses on Mediterranean and European population dynamics, including fertility transitions in Egypt, international migration, and migration policies.
