Eleanor Lockley

Dr. Eleanor Lockley is a Senior Lecturer at the Culture and Creativity Research Institute, part of the Sheffield Creative Industries Institute at Sheffield Hallam University. With 15+ years of experience, her work bridges technology, digital media, and societal impact, focusing on social inclusion, citizenship, and digital literacy.

Her research includes AHRC-funded projects on integrating arts into healthcare systems (e.g., the Creative Health Board initiative in Doncaster) and EU-funded CultureLabs, which developed platforms for heritage institutions to collaborate with migrant communities. She co-led the Nuffield-funded 'Me and My Big Data' project, exploring UK citizens' data literacy.
