Dr. Eirini Meimaridou is Reader in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease at London Metropolitan University's School of Human Sciences, where she serves as Postgraduate Research Coordinator overseeing PhD programs. Her research examines adrenal redox homeostasis and its connections to metabolic syndrome diseases.
Research focuses on oxidative stress mechanisms in endocrine disorders, mitochondrial physiology, and genetic determinants of adrenal function. Recent work explores telomere biology and redox biomarkers using murine models.
