Einat Imber is an Adjunct Instructor and Technical Assistant in the Art & Architecture Shop at The Cooper Union, where she has been part of the community for over 20 years as a student, technician, and faculty member. She holds a BFA from Cooper Union and an MFA from Stanford University, where her studio work engaged with analogue projections and alternative photographic processes amid the tech industry. Her practice explores political, environmental, and cultural themes through sculpture, video, and land-based projects.
Her research interests include sculpture, photography, land art, and cultural production. A notable project, 'Cross Country Conversation,' emerged from a 2016 cross-country journey towing a giant folded boat, documented as a video essay examining American landscapes and societal realities. She currently resides in the Hudson Valley, cultivating old farm buildings and land for environmental and cultural initiatives.
