Edward Sazonov is a Professor and Cudworth Professor of Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama College of Engineering. He serves as the Associate Department Head for Graduate Programs and leads the Computer Laboratory of Ambient and Wearable Systems. His research focuses on wearable and ambient devices for biomedical applications, including dietary monitoring, physical activity tracking, and smoking detection.
