Edward Richardson

Professor Edward Richardson is a leading expert in Applied Thermodynamics at the University of Southampton. He directs the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Computational Modelling and leads research into high-fidelity computational modeling of thermal and fluid processes for propulsion and energy systems.

His research focuses on thermal energy systems for power and propulsion, turbulent combustion simulation, and alternative fuel safety. Current projects address ultra-low-emission combustion technology and boil-off gas prediction for LNG/LH2 ships.
